Recommendations for a good cosmetic dentist?

Threads here seem to attract little response, but I guess I'll try anyway..

I'm looking to get veneers on two of my front teeth, along with some whitening (in-house, not at-home - tried the latter and found results to be limited). I have discussed this with my dentist, and he even had a cast made to show what the veneers would look like. I'm quite happy with how it would supposedly look, but he is cautious about doing the procedure himself, at least as far as one of the teeth are concerned (it's rather 'bulbous', as he puts it - more chance the root would be closer to the surface and susceptible to sensitivity if a poor job was done). So I intend to see a specialist, or at least someone with a lot of experience here (something I think my regular dentist lacks in this area).

Does anyone have any particular recommendations to share? I'm willing to pay for the best, if such a thing exists in Ireland.

edit - oh, and yes, I am going to ask my dentist for a recommendation/referral here, but my next appointment isn't due for a few weeks, and I'd like to see if anyone here can share experiences. Thanks again!

Go see a specialist called a prosthodontist who specialise in tooth replacement and cosmetic work. Your general dentist will be able to reccomend one for you.
