What is Peter's weakness? *spoilers*

I've racking my brain over what Peters weakness is going to be, I mean his power seems to be the ultimate power. The ability to use anybody elses power and remember it.

Which leads me to wondering how he gets a scar, if they are remotely on the same timeline that Hiro warned them about.

I'm thinking bennet somehow restrains peter and puts him that room they where holding Sylar in and he gets scarred and can't regenerate.

I thought for a while that peter might be limited to using only one power at a time (i.e. if he got injured while flying he couldn't regenerate) but the fight with isaac made me wonder, when the paint cans flew off the desk, was peter throwing them when he was invisible or was he using telekenisis to throw them while invisible? Also when the darts where shot at him, did he use Hiros ability and slow time down, then use his telekinisis to knock them out of the air?

The way the show is going, Peter is being geared towards being the lead superhero of the show. So what will his Kryptonite be? What will stop him from becoming all powerful, absorbing all of the heroes powers and becoming unstopable?

It can't be the same timeline - Hiro came back to warn Peter to save the cheerleader. Peter has already saved Claire and along the way picked up her regeneration power. My guess would be that the future has already been altered so future Peter never gets the scar.

Re: using two powers at once. I'm not so sure, I think the Isaac scene was deliberately trying to make us question whether Peter was using the two powers as once or whether he was simply throwing things at Isaac whilst invisible. I'm hoping he can only use one power at once though...

I had just assumed that because they had stopped mid-air and were no longer moving forward at speed that they simply became too heavy to be held up and dropped to the ground. Gravity and that.

Don't think that's it, When Hiro stopped the exploding car there was debris in mid air all over the place

When was this, I can't remember? All I remember was peter was in the prison, met claire, met nathan then collapsed. I don't remember him collapsing after meeting Sylar? Maybe I just can't remember it.

He already met Sylar. That's who he got the telekinesis from.

i know he already met sylar, i mean, sylar's on this lil journey with mohinder, as long as mohinder stays as oblivious as he has been, im sure he'll have quite a few more powers by the time he meets peter next.

personally I can't see how the sylar/peter fight will be any good if peter can just absorb all of sylars powers. IMO, I don't think peter has absorbed any of sylars powers, the telekinisis power he has he absorbed from ando at the cafe in texas (i'm purely speculating now, but when the bullet was pushed back into hopes gun, it seemed more like telekinisis than time reversing, plus both ando and hiro had they eyes squeezed closed and neither of them knew what had happened)

This would make more sense for the storyline as the dual between peter and sylar when it happens will be even as sylar will have his own distinct mix of powers and so will peter.

Hrmm.. I had just assumed that the time of the objects had stopped not time altogether - maybe I have to rewatch.

yeah thats something i was actually wondering about also. I mean when hiro stops time, does time stop everywhere in the universe? or is just in the vacinity around him?

There was a noise as they moved twards isaac there was a impact noise which i assumed was peters hand hitting them, telekinesis would make an item move very fast in a direction but the item is being moved though some sort of displacement as opposed to a impact

That would cause massive discrepancies in space time. If time just stopped where hiro was, it would mean clocks there would be out of sync with everywhere else in the world. Not the kind of thing that goes unnoticed, is it?

And I think he used time stopping before telekinesis. They stopped in mid air, then dropped, and bennet and the haitian didn't react while they were hovering. Would need to rewatch to be sure though.

Edit: Just rewatched, positive he's freezing time. The crackling noise from the tazer gun slows and stops, and neither bennet nor the haitian react until the dart falls. So either he stopped time or they have crap reaction time. Although it is possible he moved from stopping time to knocking them fluidly, without using both together.#

Edit^2: Here's a question, actually. If peter was out of time when he was near future hiro using his power, how come hiro doesn't stay unfrozen during peter's time freezes? And how come he didn;t get caught into future hiro's time freeze?

Because Super-Hiro had control over his powers to the point were he could control what is out of phase and what isnt.

As for the backfiring bullet; that was definitely Hiro: the combustion from the bullet reversed as well.

And since when does Ando have telekenisis??

Peter got that off of Sylar: they came into physical contact when they both fell off the roof.

My theory being he didnt absorb all of Sylar's powers because he would only be able to absorb them one at a time: and since that is the only one Sylar had active during the encounter thats what he absorbed.

I think he can use more than one at a time definitely. Think about it: He was invisible when he split that pole in half, dimwits!
I'll still hold he can likely only 'recall' one power at a time; but could quite possible use multiple powers at a time depending upon host proximity.
