    Hi,

There is a disparity between the price of the Pearse 10 shillings on ebay and the 'Krause' book, ebay being the most expensive. Can someone advise me of the best place to purchase one of these coins in ireland at a reasonable price, (i am located in galway).
    thanks, james.

Jim, the prices have gone up for these since the krause book. Ebay is what most dealers now base their prices on. You'll get a normal one for around $15-20 and a proof one for around $30-40 on ebay. Make sure they're in good nick, with no edge knocks etc. Don't buy any in cases on ebay for silly money as most of the cases being used are not original to the coin.
