fair play to the GAA for slipping this through almost unnoticed amid all the fuss over the england ireland game. does anyone have any information regarding the price of regular championship games?? price is high but im sure we would all pay it if our county was still in it come final day!!

Think the first rounds might have stayed the same. Or else they've gone up €5/€10 like most of them. €20 for an adult methinks.

mmm I wonder why they are referred to as the Grab all association, cheeky feckers especially with all the extra revenue coming from rugby and soccer can't see how they can justify it.

Well, it is the first increase in a few years. The provincial councils set the prices for the provincial championships. Some prices are unchanged and some are changing. When you see the prices for rugby or soccer matches or Premiership games, we don't fare too bad. We usually get two games aswell don't forget. There is no minor match on Saturday!:)

The price for the All Ireland is a bit steep but if your county is in it it's not! Lol. Anyway comparable to Rugby and Soccer internationals and it is the All Ireland. The Third Round Qualifier and 1/4 Finals are the best value by far. €25 for a 3rd Round Qualifier and either 30/35 € for a 1/4 Final. Last year u could watch Donegal V. Cork in the main event and of course Kerry V. Armagh in the warm up! Lol. Amazing value in this day and age. At least €10 to watch a film and €15 to a Night Club.

About €70 for 2 Adults and a child to get in. Croker that is not the night club!

I've brought people visiting Ireland to Croke Park on a few occasions. I'd tell them that there are two matches and that the tickets are €25. Their first thought is that that is for each match and they are a little reluctant. They are surpised that they are getting two matches for that. It is cheap when you consider what you would pay to go to a soccer match in England, especially when you only get one match for the price. There is nothing like the buzz and excitement of a big day in Croke Park, or any of the larger venues in the country so it is worth it, if you can get a ticket of course. :)

God damn em, It costs enough already, because for the all-ireland tickets there is a surcharge of €10 on each to pay for the team holiday fund. This means now that the tickets for the stand will be actually €80. The All-Ireland is a costly thing. However seeing Kieran Donaghy strike fear into the other 31 counties alone makes it all worthwhile. This reminds me of how the Government made some controversial announcement on 9/11.

Jesus! Not another one of these debates! Slightly off thread methinks! Plenty of other threads to put this on. Unfortunately there's a levy in most counties or as in my club you have to be a member to get a ticket. You get alot of extra €20 club membership fees at these times when they are looking for tickets, often from people who would never be members. Croke Park should give more of a contribution to holidays definitely, but then every county would be going to the Seychelles.

Of course the Kingdom and the Rebels are the only ones who pick up the tab. Can think of a few counties close to me who lost alot more than a few € to the Rip off Republic.
