Where does one complain about an ad. on TV? I seen one the other day and I think it should be taken off air ASAP.

The Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland would be your first port of call.

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission also looks at ads on TV.

It’s the ad for the Toyota Yaris. Man and woman in clothes shop, she puts underwear into his pocket, and he is apprehended by security as he leaves the shop. This is in retaliation for him ill-treating her car. Gives out all the wrong messages, i.e., shoplifting is ok, Revenge is cool.

ah grow up,its not glorifying shoplifting or revenge.it a light hearted ad.

    O_o

That's crazy. Next you'll be complaining about the one where the model aircraft gets crashed because it encourages hijackings..

Children are by nature impressionable, and not necessarily idiotic.

I would rather complain about all the credit/mortgage ads there is on Jetix and other kids channels, that is crazy and pissing me off.

When you say to your children, "Well son next month" and your son replies "Get a loan dad" that is..driving me nuts because a 4 years old kid should not have to think they parents should get a loan when they say the toy's purchase is gonna be next month for whatever reason we have...

I don't much like it any time of day on TV, but it's probably pointless to complain. As long as I know in advance what is in a Film I can eithier watch it or Not.

I still control the off switch :-)

Adverts I always mute, or remove when recording / dubbing. So really arn't hey becomming a bit pointless. Give all the kiddies big remotes with a Mute button the have to hold to get the sound and pedel generator to power the TV to keep them fit.

And you are, by nature, an uptight prude with nothing better to do.

I think this is not going anywhere useful. The OP question was answered.

    We don't need personal insults.
