Anto ace on the river is not great its more about what it takes to be a high stakes pro than how to play like one!! I'll give you a lend if you want its pretty easy to read you'll get through it in two or three sittings.

Edit: I agree with Llyod, Sklansky and Miller's book is probably the best i've read. If you want a lend of that too just gimme a shout.

Ace on the River is a very enjoyable and worthwhile read if you take this game very seriously i.e. you play professionally or semi-professionaly.

I can give you them both in PDF if you want, cheaper than paying for a book and finding out you hate it.
    I have about 5,

No limit hold'em, Theory and practice,
    Ace on the River,
    Caro's book of tells,
    Super System 2,
Harrington on Hold'em 3, (can get 1 & 2 if wanted, didnt get them 1st time cos i had hardcopys)

If you look hard enough (just use the filter in your search) you should find about a gazillion books and articles in pdf form from our number 1 cousin down the bay.

It has all the books mentioned here already and probably every noteworthy poker book in history. If only i wasnt so lazy, and actually started reading one of them.

The only book ive read was "Ace on the River" and i only read the first half of it, which had nothing to do with poker strategy but was interesting all the same.
