Firstly I wish to appologise if this is
    1. In the wrong forum
    2. There is already a thread open for this

I have looked but to no avail, if there is another thread open and also for the answer to what I am looking for....

I was wondering if there was a firewall in the market that is compatible with a laptop connection to broadband wirelessly. I have recently got a new laptop and am worried that my laptop can be accessed.

Any software firewall should be able to do that. Check my sig for a few suggestions.

If you are using a wireless router that connects to a land line, you may already have a firewall in your router. No harm in having something secondary though.

Windows xp also has an inbuilt firewall. Also check out zonealarm.
