Requesting a Review - What would u do?

Hi guys, need a bit of quick advice?

I'm requesting a review by email with my boss, had a disagreement last week that has hardened my atitude considerably to working here.

I've not had a pay review in 2 years (one that gave me a performance related bonus is all), I'm a "senior consultant" for a rural IT company and do most of the design, architecture, development and consultancy, yet my salary is <50k (I have over 19 years experience in the industry, 9 of it at team lead or above)

I got the vibe that the boss no longer has any faith in my abilities ? I want to sort this out once and for all so my request for a reivew is twofold:

    1. Get the problems aired
    2. Get sorted on the $$ / Progression front (was promised to be made up to tech-director, but so far (2.5 years down the line it has failed to materialise)

So I'm sending an email, do I itemise my talking points, or do I wait til the review ? I'm fairly non-confrontational so its tough for me to verbalise as well as putting them in an email ?

Any points appreciated, good or bad.
    Cheers. Fatboy.

    Hi fatboy
in my job i carry out reviews and listen to concerns re salary from people like yourself so i wold advise that you:
Simply send a request to the manager requesting to meet as you need to discuss your salary.
I would not give him a detailed agenda at that point as if you want to meet with your boss for any reason, he should meet you!
I will avoid waffling, stick to the facts- make a list - do not moan just express that you are frustrated at the current situation because you earn xxx per year, you have not had a review in 2 years- which is not normal according to you HR procedure?? , you doing a good job- give proof- did you do anything above the call of duty on a regular basis for example, do you have a good poductivity level, are you always on time at work, do you regularly call in sick?
Basically you are looking to prove that you are doing your job and perhaps more and that the least you would expect is a review.
