Anyone know of any gun stores in Edinburgh City?
I think there maybe one on george street.
Am heading over there on business for a day or two
so will have a few hours to walk around the city.

Was hoping to buy some 30mm Mounts for my Nikko scope
for a CZ. (Since the local store does not have any)
(Not that my licence has arrived yet or anything still
    waiting since the 15th Jan)

Yes, there is one. Can't remember the street but it is perpendicular to George St.

My Boss will be off playing golf so that will leave me do a bit of wandering
    by myself.

    Bullets,

Definitely take the time to visit Dickson & MacNaughton, one of Scotland's premier gun makers since about 1810, I believe. An experience to remember.

Just back from Scotland a few minutes ago, did not see the extra
    replies until now.

I only made it to John Dickson and Son. Small and Posh.
Feck all gun accesserys, plenty of shotguns and 4-5 rifles.

    CRAZY CRAZY prices.

Leather slip cases were 2-250 UKP!!!!!
The (few rifles) Looked 2nd Hand with marks/scuffed stocks.
There was a CZ 452 .22 for around 350 UKP
    Marlin .22 for roughly 200UKP

    Shotguns were 5000-6000 UKP.
American Tourists were in viewing and disscussing
a deal with some Brown Barrelled shotgun.
