Played some live cash 1/2 last night. Table was pretty tight but myself and a mate were pretty active and trying to get some action. Game was seven handed. Myself, decent LAG mate, two passive fish, and two nits. I play 900 or so, villain covers. Got his stack set vs overpair and AA v KK pre. Don't think he played many more hands.

UTG straddles to 7. Folded to myself in CO, i raise to €22 with K9s. Nit calls on button. Everyone else folds. (pot €54)

Flop is Qs-9d-6h rainbow. I bet €50. Villain calls. (pot €154)

The turn is the Kh. I lead for €150 leaving approx €690 behind. Villain jams. (pot approx €1100)

Opinions on decision and all streets welcome please.

why would he call 22 on the button? what are you ahead of with two pair? why would he commit all his stack?
i would fold to his all in. its either a brilliant bluff (10%) or he's hit a monster (90%)

edit: or badly played aces! lol very possibly

    was the opponent BOPS?

Tough spot Dom, may well be badly played Aces but I think I find a fold - there are so many hands that beat you, and I think you would only be calling hoping that it is badly played aces.

check the turn, fold now, I can't really see anthing besides aces?? that he's jamming it with that you're ahead of.

Smells like J 10. (maybe KK or QQ? Nits dont always reraise these hands PF) Given your description of his previous play I fold.

Defo smells like J10 so i fold. Theres a small chance he has 8h7h and picked up a flushdraw to go along with his straight draw but its unlikely

I agree.I think kq is a pretty feasible hand-regardless based on desciption of villian its a clear fold.

gotta love this ability and the constant strive to be able to put villain on a single hand.
    Brilliant …

This is the easiest fold ever.
