We went to Poland for the Ocober mid term, it was a fantastic trip! We're going on the Gaisce hike sometime in April...which kinda counts as a tour, and in May we go to Carlingford adventure centre. Year trips really bring the year a whole lot closer as a year.

20 of us are going on a french exchange to Nancy in France on the 5th of March till the 15th. (10 days). Should be some craic.

The french are coming to Ireland after the easter holidays.

The trip will, with out any doubt, improve my proficiency in the french language.

Just back from Paris now, it was ****ing amazing! Best city I've ever been to by far.

Obviously saw all the sites - went up the Eiffel Tower, Tour Montparnasse, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, went into the catacombes (which was quite freaky - 8 million dead bodies), the Louvre, Champs-Elysees, La Defense, Stade de France, cruised on the Seine and SO much more!

Also walked down the red light district and got offered all kinds of things ;).. and got started on by a junkie on the metro.

The nights out were amazing - the teachers let us go and didn't care what we did, as long as we didn't bring stuff back into the hotel.

I can't wait to back to Paris, it was definitely the highlight of TY! :D

We our not going ANYWHERE, not even an overnight trip. The transition year programme this year in our school really is atroucious. The best trip so far was when we had a day trip to go horseriding -_-. So basically we just have to completely take the piss on every trip we go on to make them fun :D.

We can make believe that we are in Paris :D
