Motorcycle Recovery - Glasnevin / Northside

Anyone know of any motorcycle recovery services in the glasnevin area or the general northside? I know about the one in walkinstown mentioned in the sticky (OMG, someone actually read the sticky!), but was looking for one a bit closer and cheaper.

I woke up this morning to find that my neighbour had cut my brake cables with wire-cutters/snips. I'm not far from Scott's Bike garage on Dorset St (the only one open in monday it seems), but I'll be dammed if I'm gonna push a 220kg bike a mile.

Or does anyone know someone with a van who would be willing to help out for a few euro?

I don't know of anyone on the northside, but I'll ask the same question I asked over on the "how safe is your bike" thread , WHAT THE HELL MADE HIM CUT YOUR BRAKES  ???

A man from the post office came around in January asking to verify the names/addresses of everyone in the block of flats. He asked me which flat this guy lived in, and I told him it was flat 1. We had reported to the Post Office that a lot of mail was not being delivered, so I assumed this man was here for that.

Turns out, he was the TV licence inspector and the guy in the Flat 1 was eavesdropping. He was pissed that I had 'ratted' on him (I didnt, i just confirmed his address with the post office!). He's been harrasing me ever since. Turning off my electricity, blocking the drainage pipes from my flat, putting stuff under my door etc. Landlord can't kick him out without proof.

What he did was attempted murder. If I was you I'd go straight to a Garda station and report it.

Gardai just left. Nothing they can do. They won't even bother fingerprinting the cables that were cut. The rain would have washed away the prints apparantely.

Apparantely, if I had been killed they might have started an investigation.

if you are with carole nash, they offer a free bike recovery service

ps be careful when you are moving the bike as that brake fluid might drip onto your neighbours car & peel the paint off

    Thanks fdevine & everyone else.

The 086 8330705 number (24 hr) is for Martin McDonald of the Motor Cycle Recovery Service company. €50 and he was here in 20 mins. Good service and a great guy to talk to.
