UCD Rifle Club Announcement:
The UCD Open 2, for rifle and pistol, will take place in UCD Rifle Club, Belfield, Dublin 4...

19.00, Thursday, 15th of Feb (Students and Juniors)
10.30, 12.30 & 14.30, Sunday, 18th of Feb (Open For All)

There will be no 10 shot final.

Entry Fees: Adult €15;
Student and Juniors €10

Places are limited! So please email us at ucdrifleclub@gmail.com for bookings, with the subject as "UCD Open 2".

Also please book before Thursday, 15th of Feb.

The rest of Thursday night's detail. Note the lady in black at the end of the line - this was her first match ever and she not only set a club record for a first-match score, we think she might have set an Irish record (we need to check the records of another lady shooter from a few years back, just to be sure), and she easily beat everyone in class D, class C and half the people in class B!


Nice steady head position during the mounting of the rifle. Good technique...

I was there on the 15th and just wanted to say thanks to everyone to let me look over their shoulders and help out on the range. It was very good experience and practice for me, particularly after taking Geoff's Range Officers Course a couple of weeks earlier.

Thanks and hope to do some R/Oing soon (and compete as well)
