Geo comes from the Greek word for earth and Pathic from the Greek word pathos meaning to suffer and cause disease.

Geopathic stress is mainly caused by narrow paths of water about 200=300ft (60-90meters) below ground (also on top of mountains).

We had a guy visit our home and he done a survey using a crystal on a chain type thing otherwise known as 'water divining'. Its an interested subjet to say the least.

I hadn't ever heard of it, but from your description it really reminds me of radon gas. Radon is given off by decaying uranium and radium in the soil and can build up in buildings. Being radioactive it can naturally lead to all kinds of health problems. Interestingly, I did a quick google for GS and it seems to be associated with ground water and underground streams, which can often have high concentration of radon which they tend to release. Not sure if that means anything though.
