Personal Planner not retaining reminders

I have a Pace Sky digibox. Standard Sky subscription, not Sky+.
Every week I have to reenter programme reminders into the Personal Planner. Some programmes are retained for a couple of weeks, others are not. The Series Link is unreliable, again, it might remember 2 weeks in a row. Items just disappear from the personal planner. Any idea why or possible fixes? I've tried unplugging the box, turning the card upside down......all those solutions that Google throws up but none have worked.

Not sure if this applies to all of your "Series Linked" shows, but if a channel updates their EPG files (the TV Guide info) while you have it added to your planner, it will recognise it as a different show, and it will remove itself.

Did Google throw up a manual software redownload?

If not, try this...

• Turn off the box at the mains,
• Hold down the backup button on the box itself (not the remote)
• Wait for all the lights on the display to come on, let go of the button,
• You may get a message on the screen saying updating system software, if not, wait for the lights to go off, can take upto 15 minutes to complete.

I also had the same problem for a long time on a Panasonic Box, it would seemingly at random lose reminders in the personal planner, upgraded to Sky+ recently and my wife queried the installed about it..

He said that the box was faulty. Thankfully it does not happen with the SKy+ box.
