Anyone go to one of these? Smells like a scam..."Public notice due to bankruptcy of a leadng wholesale firm €75,000 worth of stock will be sold regardless of cost" gives a list of "stuff"..being held in a local bar...with €3 admission charge...

Anyone ever go to one similar?

Well, I'd imagine if they really wanted to clear out everything, they wouldn't be charging admission.

i had one a few weeks ago.

they were advertising PS3's for €30 (that's a €630 not released till march console) so I doubt very much that you will get anything like what they are saying.

i'd say to keep it legal it'll be some sort of auction with the prices listed as the starting price, not what you can buy stuff for.

I went to one of those late last year and there was bargains to be had. I could have picked up a 21" tv for €50 but if its break you are kinda of screwed!

    maybe
but mostly a scam where they unload stuff, price might be good or it might not but if you read the small print there probably isn't any cover

I went to a couple of these in the past and TBH you're better off going to Pound City or euro city or whatever. These auction/sale guys would only have about 10% of what they advertise and yes you'll get a €15 scart lead for €5 but you will get the same lead in the local junk shop for €2

Biggest waste of time and money ever I seen
