    Hey,

    I am looking for some singer songwriter venues in Dublin... can anyone recommend a venue?

    There are many to be found, but here are some i would recommend:

    The International Bar
    Wicklow Street
    Monday Nights - 9:00pm
    A night of music from all sorts.
    It is run by Jacqueline Tuck. You can reach her through her myspace.

    another is

    Anseo on Camden Street
    Every Thursday night - 9:00pm(usually)
    Music and comedy.
    Again check there myspace site. There are contact details for Declan Rooney for booking.

    and then of course there is The Ha' Penny Bridge Inn.
    Every Tuesday night @ 9:30 or so.
    Mixture of all things comedy and music.

    There most certainly isn't a shortage anyhow, however the above are venues I have played and therefore would highly recommend.
