Thinking of buying 2003 version of Aprilla Atlantic this weekend and just wondering what is this bike like? Its a 125cc,9k miles and the vendor is asking 1300.Im 29 so hope the insurance wont be too much....
    Is this price reasonable?
Is it a good bike for zipping around the city?
Hard / Expensive to get parts?
What do you like / hate about this bike?

    Any help very much appreciated

Can a mod move this to the Motorbikes forum, might get a better response there.

What license have you got? Expect at the very least €500 on a 1st year provisional A or A1.

Going by my (admittedly limited) experience, I'd say that depending on the condition, it's fair / close to the mark if it's a fully-documented 1-owner minter.

Is it a good bike for zipping around the city?
    I ride a similar maxi-scoot - hell, yes!

Hard / Expensive to get parts?
Shouldn't be, I believe there are at least 2 aprilia resellers in town, and there's always tons of aprilia spares on eBay.

What do you like / hate about this bike?
I quite like the styling of the "big" Atlantic (500, I think), dunno if the 125 looks very much like it. Can't say anymore as I don't ride one, I ride a Benelli 125.

Good luck with it, let us know how you get on.
