I have a good few scratches on my windscreen where the wipers swipe. I was wondering if anybody knew of some outfit that repaired this type of damage. I did a google search and came up with the company that supply a franchise specialising in glass repair, including scratch removal:

Does anyone know of a company (ideally in the Cork area) that uses this or similar equipment?
    Thanks

Unless you bought one of these kits http://www.scratchglass.com/pages/glasspolishkit.htm

I would say the scratch would have to be very light (fingernail does not catch) to have any real success. The normal car glass polishes in the shops are really only for removing water spots and general cleaning.
