hope someone can help as i have searched the net with no joy

i am currently breastfeeding my 3month old, therefore have not had a period since before pregnancy. however have had imlanon fitted11 days ago , if you aren't familiar implanon is a little rod that a doc puts inside your arm which lasts as 3years contraception, side effect is irregular bleeding. 2 days ago i started bleeding. as i would have normally used tampons before pregnancy i proceeded to use again but is very painful to insert and take out and uncomfortable when in. could this be due to breadtfeeding as i know it changes your vaginal cells and is the bleeding a regular period.

as this is my first baby i'm not sure but i know that when breastfeeding periods don't normally resume. also could the problem with tampons be that i haven't had sex since befoe the birth. i hope someone out there has some experience with any issues i have raised, thanks in any ideas or answers

Not what you want to hear but consult GP.

    OP
    Go talk to your doctor.
This is not a medical forum and really you should only be taking a professional opinion on this subject.
