    Hello all.

Been in WW Clontarf rd. for a no. of years now. This Jan the monthly fee went up from €70 to €75. Didn't think too much at the time as it's only been the first increase & the gym is convenient for me.

However thinking about it more of recent, there does seem to be a bit more competition out there, with gyms reducing their fees in the hunt for members and some gyms being a bit 'cagey' about what their fees are.

Basically my question; is every one else paying €75 a month now?

Yup, know that there are cheaper gyms out there, but wondering if everyone in WW Clontarf is paying the same or not?

(re-reading my OP I realise it may not have been clear that this is what I was asking :) )

I pay 55 in in westwood but that is a student rate

I used to be a member of westpoint but It has much more limited opening hours which don't always suit me, only a 25 m pool, changing rooms not particularly clean and it's very dark which annoyed me. I don't like a gym to look like a brothel :D On the other hand, it was very cheap.

There are different rates in WestWood - See here

So not everyone is paying the same. But for the record, I'm paying 75 a month. I go three times a week, so that works out at just under 7euro a time. Not that expensive really, but a lot more than other gyms.

Like the OP though, It's convenient for me, and the times suit.

    That table is empty.

I realise that there are different membership types. I'm still suspicious that there are people on Adult full single memberships paying less than €75 a month.

Perhaps it's just Eddie Hobbs that has made me paranoid about such things:)
