    Hello ,I'm new to this whole delivery malarky on the net .
    I was wondering how long to expect on certain shipping routes ???

    I.E. English standard post ,Amazon from america .

    The best delivery I've recieved was DutchCd(ebay) ,ordered on the 25th got it on 28th. Play was 5 days.

    Rule of thumb,
    expect two weeks, if it get to you any sooner its a bonus.:eek:

    I actually got something from Oz in five days, which i found pretty impressive !.

    I sometimes got packages from Hong Kong in about 5 to 6 working days.

    Strange how deliveries from UK can take much longer at times.

    UK to Ireland delivery has always been absolute pants for me. :( From Asia, about a week and the same from the US.

    Yeah! NZ and Aus are consistently 5 days (i.e. if I order on Monday I get it on Friday). Whereas anything from England turns up, battered, two weeks later. Is this an IRA tactic? :)

    This is the nearest thread I saw to what I wanted to find out

    Has anyone ever had difficulty with a delivery somply not arriving and where do you stand? I ordered The Wire First Series DVD from sendit nearly five weeks ago and when queried I got a mail saying it was dispatched already (5 February).

    Do you have any comeback if you didn't get it insured or what is the best way to approach it with Customer Services?

    I only had one problem since I started buying on the net a month ago.
    A dvd I ordered through amazon.co.uk from a crowd called DvdLegacy ,never arrived.
    Amazon refunded me the price of the item along with the shipping cost.

    I contacted amazon a day or so after the delivery time limit of the order.

    Quite pleased with the way amazon handled the situation.
