    I like the composition, and the tones of green/blue and pink are lovely. Quite like the darkness of it too, it definitely adds to the atmosphere. I like the softness, but in the path at the bottom it looks like when I have noisy shadows that I over-process. Did you have to try and bring some detail out of the shadows there? How much did you have to process it after it came out of the camera? I'm quite intrigued by the effect, I must admit :)

    On first glance the photo looks great.

    but

    looking at the original, there is huge amounts
    of noice all over the photo.

    Is this normal in an IR photo?

    Yep, noise is part and parcel of IR!

    Helios - Is this IR film or digital?

    Very spooky, the pic evokes a sound-muffled environment, a la snow scenes.

    hi all, thanks for all the great feedback! The shot is IR digital. I ran it through Noise Ninja, but it really didn't do much for the noise. I've found IR to be incredibly hit or miss. I've got a few more on my flickr if you want to take a look...
