Theres something about dogs with blue eyes that I find so cool.

Nice photo, makes you wonder what the husky is looking at :)

I like the second one, great sunset/dusk shot.

I take it these are from the Swedish trip :)

I can't view in either firefox or ie for some reason, and I want to see doggies :(

Okay, the place where I had the pictures had gone over it's load limit or something so I've put them onto Kodakgallery (because I had a dormant account there). Hopefully that'll be okay.

gandalf: yup, from the trip to Sweden. The pic of the trains station was actually taken at midday  believe it or not. Then again when you're 200km north of the arctic circle in mid January there's weird light all day.

Tis asking me to sign in to Kodak Gallery. Upload them to Imageshack and throw up the link for each image.

Argh.. you'd think this would be all a lot easier than it's proving to be.

    Okay, try that.

Working for me now. The cropped one looks well.

Yeah i like the cropped one, but it is a pity his paws are not in the shot. his eyes are class, never saw a dog with blue eyes..

I agree that it's a pity I didn't get his paws. I was more looking at his eyes when I took the shot and it wasn't until I got home that I noticed - let that be a lesson to me.

Lots of huskies have vivid bright blue eyes, although many are brown too. I've just returned from my epic dog sledding holiday in Lapland, and when I have time I'll upload some of my photos too. Here are a couple of my favourite doggies to be getting on with.

Made thread of the day! \o/

Very nice photos daiixi. The Kiruna station shot looks well. I feel it would look even better if there was less people about.

The cropped shot of the dogs works for me. The dogs eye looks striking. I've never seen a dog with eyes like that.

The uncropped one has more of a feel to it, IMO

I'll upload a few photos next week along with a bit of a story about the trip, don't worry! Let it just be said that if anyone thinks that a holiday like that is an easy option, they are very much mistaken!! I'm aching in parts of my body I didn't even know existed until now :)

But its always a good aching feeling, after stuff like that. Makes you feel good.
