has anyone ever been accused of cheating before?

drunken home game, just ended now.

started off a 20 quid rebuy, got it all in with 2 pair and was sucked out on.

    but thats not the point.

got another game going. i was in charge of giving out chips, was sitting beside the chipset. and when i got up to put a pizza on there was 2 1k chips under my ass on my seat. they must have fell from the table onto the seat, and although i protested it as far as i could, i got accused of cheating and two lads left in disgust.

as i know i wasnt cheating and usually wouldnt be bothered, the town im from, usually card games are sort of close knit, everyone knows everyone sort of thing. basically ive built up a bad name for myself, and im not sure how to deal with it.

what im asking has anyone ever been acused of cheating, and how did they deal with it?

    Mr Plough,
I suggest you talk to the people who were playing, on an individual sober basis, and try to find out what they think of the situation.

Maybe arrange to meet the guys who took umbrage as well, there is a chance that in the cold light of day they might be a bit embarassed by their reaction.

Agree to sit on a hard-bottomed seat in future :)

The way I see it is, you're even.

You had two chips under your ass, your mates now have one on their shoulder.

    Frame them, accuse them.
