    Took this evening in Portmarnock the light was really bad, got a really blue hue on everything so safe bet B&W, got really soaked just after this shot :)

    Nice capture, but it looks too "light" for the drama of the crashing wave, to mine eye.

    good capture, i would try a dodge/burn on the clouds to bring back some detail.

    Thanks for taking the time to post, I burned the clouds as much as I could before they looked fake, and as for a lower exposure, I looked at that but I lost too much detail in the foreground as a result of darkning in Raw, I used an adjustment layer to try balance the cloude and foreground as good as I could.

    Maybe try the shadow/highlight tool in CS2 have a bit of a play with it. Great shot though..

    Hope you dont mind, I used the shadow/highlight tool in the tools/adjustments menu. Set shadows to 2 and highlights to 52 and then brought up some contrast.
