    RTÉ 1, RTÉ 2, TV3 and TG4 need a Sky subscription

free to air doesnt require a subscription
RTÉ etc are NOT free to air

Combine Satellite signal ( UHF) and RTE Ter and you end up with
satellite and RTE signals, to as many points as required.
Watch BBc/ITV down stairs and RTE up stairs, or any other way.

or, put amp on aerial and split signal up and down stairs, in and out of STB and you have rte1, 2, tv3, tg4 + sat. on all TV's.
