creative zen sleek compatibility with zen vision?

    I have a zen sleek for less than 2 years. It seems to be knackered. Wont charge fully and now it wont turn off, keeps freezing etc.

    So i was considering getting the 30gb zen vision instead.

    1.so I was wondering if leads, plugs etc of zen sleek will work on vision (am I right in thinking they dont come with the vision?)

    2.Is the software the same? I dont want to spend days transferring music to my new player from my pc.
    The zen sleek isnt even recognised by my laptop when i plug it in, dont know if i'll ever get it turned on

    3. Id like to stay with a creative player (or perhaps stay away from ipods)
    whats the best new one to buy in people's opinion?
    even if its an iriver one, but I'd prefer not to get an ipod.

    1. nope. nothing you have with the sleek will work on your vision m.

    2. mediasource is the same, but the media explorer thing is different.

    3. vision m... you could wait for this 60gb version (unless it's already out)

    Actually, the power supply will work fine - it's the same 5V, 2.4A settings and the plug should fit the sync adapter that comes with the Vision: M just fine.

    Other than that, there's nothing that comes with the Sleek that he would need with the Vision: M, since he'll get a proper USB cable and sync adapter in the box anyway.
