Sounds great, I might move there.

Believe me you're not missing anything. Ireland's 'No1 breakfast TV' - most wooden and comical TV performance more like.

TV3 will be showing the new us quality drama studio 60 on a sunset strip this thursday. tv3 in general is a ITV clone with mickey mouse Irish content

At this stage any TV broadcaster adding new ANALOUGE transmitters is throwing away money
    title is a bit misleading
    I second that

Yes - when DTT is rolled out :P

Moville is going to go DTT, unlike most other relays. But its not gonna be any time soon.

All you're missing is what GMTV would have looked like 30 years ago, a TV adaptation of "The Sun" and "Sports Tonight". The rest is on UTV and/or not worth watching.

the point of the title was to get people viewing obviously. the main reason i want it is to view international soccer matches not on any other channel, eg. last months shambles against san marino was only on tv3

    One word answer: "No"

Five word answer: "Well not in analouge anyway"

20% of Ireland can only get TV3 via satellite. Probably 30% can only get GOOD pictures from all four Irish channels by subscription to Sky. It's terrible the stanard that has been regarded as acceptible coverage and reception quality in this country.

I'd rate 90% of ANALOGUE MMDS and Cable in the past as unacceptible quality. It's good that UPC is committed to 100% digital rollout and quality.

Whilst TV3 coverage is far from national, a great portion of the folk with unsatisfactory reception of the other 3 is down to problems at the receiving end. Either they have aerials installed by an incompetent, or their installation has deteriorated over the years. Corroded aerial connection, water getting into coax, masthead amplifiers or diplexers damaged by extremes of weather, poorly made up extensions.

I think the majority of cases of people complaining about poor reception is due to issues at the receiving end. You will even find people receiving UHF on VHF aerials.

TV3 is carried on a small number of deflectors as well as $ky/cable/MMDS
