The key difference in our strategy versus the prior cycle, is that in addition to full support on Sony and Microsoft platforms, we will aggressively target the Nintendo platforms consistent with our multi-platform strategy and Nintendo’s expected growth. In fiscal 2008, we will double our offerings on the DS and the Wii, including Spider-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and Guitar Hero.

I'd love to see how they manage to implement the guitar mechanic with this version... the plug and play Gibson or a WiiMote 'n' Nunchuk combination.

    Also, Drum Hero please.

I'm guessing there will be space in the back of the fret board for the wiimote. I hope they manage to innovate more than that, though....

I could see it as TmB said, with the wiimote simply slotted into the guitar body/neck somewhere. I really don't see much potential for innovation there, beyond the fact that the guitars could be wireless. Still looking forward to it though!

And hell yeah for the idea of drum hero! I'd imagine it something like the Rayman dancing games. They were programmed to work pretty damn well with the music, whereas I felt that Donkey Konga seemed a bit more disconnected from the music itself (Until you got onto the higher difficulties)

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the DS version... perhaps moving the focus away from the fret board and more on picking/strumming (like Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06).
