Ok, Where can one go in the city of Dublin for a really good quality print from digital?

Looking for a place that will print quality like you brought some film but wont ask for body parts as a deposit.

What about the camera place at the top of Grafton? Any thoughts?

Use the newest lab available to ye, the reason is they will most likely have the newest printers, new technology will give better results (for digital) I have been using Harvey Norman in airside, they are running a 14 day 14cent (6x4) promotion, perfect for your day to day family snaps, if you want a more professional service try Lenox st labs, these are the real Mc coy, they are on Lenox street, of course I hear you say.

pro places generally won't give you better quality results for digital as most places use the exact same technology for printing

unless you get something like a lambda print (link) done which costs more obviously
mcg digital on lower georges st do them

places like the camera centre on grafton street use standard fuji frontier printing which is really good but not archival quality

True, but that's a bit like saying po-photographers generally won't get better images than amateurs because they're using the exact same technology. Some will, some won't! It all comes down to how the technology is used. I've gotten great results from a chemist based Fuji Frontier operated by someone passionate about image quality and similarly have had terrible results from a pro-lab becuase they rushed the work out. The opposite is true too (more often than not a pro-lab will give you better results).
