    Nice idea for the shot :).
    I think if you were to take 5/10pixels off the left side it would help
    the picture as it's a bit dodgy, or maybe even a border would help.
    Also there's one bit in the bottom left which is like one big smudge,
    maybe try redo that bit :)

    I like it but seems that the changes you made were done to the entire picture.

    I have found that if you make small changes in the right places and just ensure that the changes are small and suttle you can make a great overall change. Just make sure that you dont change one section too much or you will see it in the borders. Bluring the lines helps compat that to a certain extent.

    I tried something with your picture as an idea for you.

    I messed up the slow behind you (got a call and tried to finish quickly)

    Just an idea with what you can do.

    Sky: Changed colour on its own
    Trees: Changed colour on its own
    Treeline below: Changed colour again
    Snow behind: Clone tool, Guassian blur
    Overall: Brightness and contrast
