Hi I got a 4g SD memory card for my camera. When I put It In It comes up format or cancel when I press format It starts doing something but then brings me back to the same screen saying format or cancel when I press cancel the camera turns off any ideas?

Maybe the camera can't handle a a 4GB card. Try a smaller one first to see if that works.
