    is it just me who prefers the originals?

    I prefer some, but the whole point of these photos seems to be advertising, from an artistic pov, the originals are better, but the retouched ones really do catch your eye.

    I often wonder what the original image looked like before any editing so I like the ability to be able to see the original. Another site that has this feature is LEVITATION - THE ART OF BEFORE AND AFTER
    I've also incorporated this feature into my own photoblog on latchiko.com just last week. From browsing other sites, I find that being able to see a before and after version of an image is a great learning tool.

    Thought the trolley one was verrry obvious! Some of them are deadly tho... fad kid one is very funny oh and the sweat patches on the fella!!

    it's not beyond the bounds of possibiility that the originals may be retouched too - there was a case a while ago where someone released fake 'original' photos to the press of a photoshoot for FHM or some similar lads mag. needless to say, the released photos had been retouched to be unflattering.
