Prices have dipped a bit recently i believe I got it for 1.50 & Vat
for 4" blocks 75Cents for Stock Brick/Soaps, that doesn't include
sand cement etc etc. You might be better off and negotiate a better
rate if you provide trowel ready mortar supplied by your local concrete supplier

Using the following link do your best to estimate the amount of blocks
you need and go for a priced job rather than pay on a "per block basis"

This link will calculate the number of blocks and bricks you'd need for a job

    hope this helps

    block calculator

    concrete calculator

but i reckon you should get your engineer/architect to do a bill of quantities
for you, it'll cost about 250euro but worth every penny!!!

    gordon,

I getting 8500-9000 blocks laid in the midlands for €12K if that is any help to you. I probably could have held off for a better price but I got a good recommendation for the guy I chose and in 2 weeks he had built the first floor in my house! Sometimes its better to pay a little more for someone who wont mess you around and will arrive when he says he will!! Best of luck
