So I went to Lanzarote and took the camera with me.
    Here are the results!

This time I tried to go out and shoot with an idea of what I wanted to focus on improving in my photography, namely colour and contrast along with composition. I'm not actually terrifically happy with the results (for example I havent "bonded" with these pictures the way I did with the Maltese ones) but do feel like I was able to say "I want this to look like the picture in my head" and actually have it come out something like that, then I did in Malta where I simply went "oooh, thats a nice shot..." *click* *click* *click* *click* *click* until I got something that looked like it would look ok :)

Anyway, tell me what I'm doing right/wrong in your opinions! I'm always amazed how people like and hate pictures that I hate and like!

Great pics. I love Cesar Manrique's work and the pics of Jameos del Agua are great.

Did you go to Mirador del Rio?

Nice stuff, the colours are brilliant. I would say you are going in the right direction, definitely.

Mikedragon goes to the top of the class for recognising the artists house. I didnt get a whole lot of time or conditions to go and shoot lots and I was so amazed by Cesar's house that I spent far too long in there snapping everything I could see!

The other areas (who's names I cant remember) were "The Boilings" where the sea crashes in on the cave network, an area I spectacularly failed to shoot well and the panorama view point at the north of the island, where I spent most of the time shooting the decor because it interested me more then the breath-taking view... lol.

Also I find panorama's beautiful to look at and impossible to capture on camera. Why is that? They always come out looking bland.
