The bluetones play the Temple Bar Music Centre this weekend. Tickets 15euro!! I almost feel guilty paying so little to see such a great band.

They also play Cork on Sunday and Galway the following night.

I shall be there, strange the 5 year gap and then 2 in a few months.

Cracking gig back in December 2000 in the TBMC, really looking forward to this one and priced the way a gig should be, less than 20 euro for an amazing band with a vast amount of excellent songs.

**** me edited to say is it really 7 years this December, oh ****.

Mark Morriss said something along the lines of "we've been neglecting you lot for too long" at the village gig in september so good to see them back again so soon. Wasn't familiar with all the new album at that gig so also looking forward to this, should be a good one.

Thought you were going to break into a song there....

Yeah thats right, over on the Bluetones site Adam remarked how they were totally taken aback by the welcome and the reaction.

He usually plays one or two bluetones songs but it's mainly his solo stuff which is pretty good btw. He played in crawdaddy last year but unfortunately only about eight people showed up. Hopefully he gets a better turn out in whelans! You could do a lot worse in dublin of a thursday..
