Being quite honest, there is NOTHING special there. You should go do some research on architectural photography, just to see how good you can actually get, some advice for one of the photos you took; the one of the factory, you should have walked around to camera right and taken the photo at an angle so you didnt get teh flat visage of the factory and you would have gotten the docks in the frame and the shadow would have been more favourable. You have a good eye for photos but dont know how to take full advantage of it!

Sorry for going OT but what do you think of the Sigma 18-200mm Lens?

I agree with Woof the factory shot is a bit ugh so what, but I like the one outside the Cavern and the Liverbird building.

it looks like you have some dust on the sensor, check out pic 3 near the statue to the right of its head!
Pics are quite flat i would echo the above and look at your subject to see if there is a new angle you can shoot from.

These have good potential, try straightening the first and last one maybe. There's a good tutorial in the Digital Darkroom.

I actually really like the last one.

Gandalf the 18-200mm is not bad but it needs a lot of light. The auto focus isnt that fast but so long as your not trying to focus on moving objects it ok
The one thing i will say is its quite sharp.

By the way guys thanks for the comments i would have liked to change some of the angles for the pics but as i said i had the brother in law on my elbow and the wife nagging me and to top it offf some ass telling me not to be taking pictures down by the docks as it was private property!!!!.

Where can i get the sensor cleaned by the way guys

Think conns do it for about 50 euro...was thinking of investing in the do it yourself kit but not sure if i want to risk it. My sensor is absolutely fility, there is a small hair on it too i think...I think ill try conns at the weekend just to check the difference..
