    Hi

Booked a week for two 18th-25th Feb in Puerto Del Carmen, Las Palmeras II with Topflight from Dublin and I now can't go

As it's under two weeks away I stand to lose 90% of my money if I cancel so I was wondering if anyone would like to offer me anything for it or is there anything else I can do, if someone else had this experiance before???

    Cheers

Why don't you check the Ts & Cs to see if it can be transferred. I used to deal with a small Tour Op and while 1 name change was allowed, 2 weren't.
Also see if what costs would be involved.

I checked with the agent I booked with and she said the two names can be changed for 40euro each.

Bare in mind that you may only get 10% back from the operator but your insurance should pay most of the rest. You do have holiday insurance right? Although they usually only pay, depending on the policy if its due to sickness or death etc... not if something else came up. You could try it on ebay maybe.... At least put it on adverts.ie as opposed to here!
Would also help if you posted a price you would hope to get.. you will not get it but at least a ballpark!

I put it up on buyandsell.ie same time I posted it here but have heard nothing yet....I did opt for the insurance when booking it I think it was with Blue Insurance was extra €25 pp but not sure of there Ts & Cs...and as for price, paid €500 pp would take €300 pp incl paying for name change!
