Charties, Cant actually spell it properly bit phonetically its shah - ti - ahs.
Excellent food but bit of a funny place, They seat you at any table they like so you usually end up sitting beside other people. Sounds a bit mad but actually fairly cool. Usually a big crowd there so you'd want to get there early. Def worth a look at least. Some idiot was on Jerry Ryan last year complaing about the place but dont think he knew what he was getting himself into when he went there. Anyway enjoy the trip!

    Charties,

Not exactly what I'd call a romantic meal though :)

Are you looking for any type of food or especially French?

For a great atmosphere I'd recommend Vins de Pyrenees (25 Rue Beautreillis). Its in an old wine cellar and has a great buzz about it. The food is also delicious.

Also, there was a great one close to Rue Mouffetard but unfortunately I can't remember the name of it. Its in the Lonely Planet Guide to Paris.

Hi Ponster, am looking for something romantic and definitely a complete French meal, fromage, digestif etc. One that can take a while to enjoy!
