I took this last night it’s straight from the camera I like it but it looks a bit grainy.
Any advice on how I could improve it. In PS or by retaking.
    Thanx
    Lee

Do you have a link to a bigger file? Its kinda hard to see with that one..

I like it the way it is. The rules would say to crop the left and bottom a bit so you're fitting it into thirds rather than half, but hey, I like the empty spaces. It gives it a sense of tranquility and quietness. I'd be tempted to change the angle in a re-shoot so the wall line is more diagonal. Maybe thats a bit obvious though :)

There's a lovely quality of light in it.

I can see this is on flickr - can you give a link to the picture's page?

Straight off, if you are complaining about graininess, it is possibly linked to the ISO value that the picture was taken at. So if you wanted to retake it you would be looking at a lower iso and a higher exposure time (tripod required).

You can't really, AFAIK fix graininess in PS.

The one comment I would make is it looks as though the surface of the water is slightly off horizontal. You might want to straighten it.

Ultimately I like the colours in this.
