    3.30 Musslebrough

    Pilca

    9/1!

This horse got placed in a class 1 (4th behind acambo, tarlaca and victram), the favourite, Kings Quay was also in that race and was nowhere (16th)

Only carrying 10-3,a few pounds lower than its main rivals.

Its also a C & D winner, and the going is perfect too.

He is up 15 pounds more than when he won that class 3 affair in Musselburgh back in November. He was out of the handicap in the listed race at Ascot which is why he had a 5 lb claimer on board to make up for it. I'm not too convinced good ground is its most favourable, and if I recall correctly the ground at Ascot that day was bottomless. It weakened in the last two furlongs last time out, which was over heavy ground and a furlong further than today's challenge, so I'd agree with you, has a good each way shout if good ground suits it. Double Vodka is a danger but only if it can cope with the weight hike from its last win. Best of luck gamb1or.

    Two for me this afternoon.

Was talking to the owner on Friday and he is sending these two over to Musselburgh today.

    1.30 Another Deckie
    3.30 Bogus Dreams

The two are said to be going well at home and should run well.

Only passing on the info so don't shoot the messenger if they don't run as well as expected!!

Should go at good e/w prices anyway.

    Good luck

    Its still always a bonus if a horse is a C & D winner.

This race is alot easier than the Ascot race though.

The ground was heavy that day...which he is not a fan of (it finished dead last the last time it ran on heavy, previously to that race)

Didn't see the race but just got the result that De Valaria and Perce Rock beaten, disappointing for their Cheltenham hopes i suppose.

Both well beaten - Orbit O'Gold took it. Made all but did have his own way in the lead. De Valira just pipped Holly tree for second. Both him and Perce Rock who went backwards very quickly pushed out in Chelttenham betting

    Seriously? any reasons?

Looking at his form he didn't seem to really train on after being useful at 2. Racing Post says:

"Gimcrack winner once upon a time but didn´t show much on first run for new stable last time after missing last year and easy to swerve here."

    410 Fontwell

    Executive Paddy 10/1

Recent runs have all been on the AW for some reason  , where hes flopped. Hes back to hurdling today where he has an excellent record. He has a stone on the fav and 10/1 seems pretty generous to me.

Just got a bit of a word for it. At that price there's nothing to lose really.

I've been sick all week so didn't make punchestown. looking at the de valira race I'm glad i didn't!! would definately have played. I wouldn't be too quick to write off his festivl chances just yet. Missed some work during the week and is a better horse going left handed.
