Reminds me of '28 Days Later' with snappy fast-paced editing and the best use of Lou Reed since 'Trainspotting'
Plot Outline (from IMDb): A horror film told in three parts from three perspectives, in which a mysterious transmission which invades every cell phone, radio and TV, turing people into killers.

Yes, sounds a lot like Stephen King's 'Cell' which (as reported here on Boards recently) is rumoured to be soon made into a film by director Eli Roth (of 'Hostel' and 'Cabin Fever' fame).

It's just been shown at Sundance and has been picked up by 'Magnolia Pictures' so will be a couple of months before release i'd imagine.

Looks very promising all the same!

It's been getting some fantastic reviews and the trailer looks excellent.

An awful lot of people are calling it derivative of King's Cell but according to the writers the script was finished over a year before the publication of Cell. I think that the film was actually in production before the book was released.

Bump for this over a year on.. watched this last Monday night.

What a very uneven film.. the performances were absolutely terrible (for the most part) but it had some very innovative moments, and VERY dark humour in parts.

I didn't really enjoy it while watching it.. but looking back, it's definitely worth a watch. Just don't watch it with really high expectations!
