Rounded edges in photoshop

Hello - hope I'm asking this in the right place. I'm trying to do a project in photoshop. I've gone through all the tutorials but they're mostly for complicated things! What I need is to figure out how to give an image rounded edges. Is it just a case of eresing the corners?
