I have a Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 DL lens from an old Minolta Dynax film camera. Will this lens fit the Konica Minolta or Sony Alpha camera's?

My parents found in their house during a clear out and was going in the skip but I though I might try and find a home for it.

i know the old 30-300 DL on canon's current DSLR'S gives the old generic
(ERR 99) and it's not worth re-chipping a pretty cheap lense,
might be a different story on the alpha's though?

    is the lense APO?

Not it's not APO. I was only really asking so I'd know if it was of any use to someone.

If anyone wants it, let me know. It comes with a hood and leather case. It's in pretty good condition. I don't want anything for it, just preferred that it went to someone who would use it.

Darren I'm STILL waiting on a Dynax (Maxxum) 5 film camera that was supposed to be winging its way from texas about 5 weeks ago  If I ever get it I would be very interested. I'm starting to think its not winging its way from anywhere though..

I'll hold it for you Sinead. If you are going to the next meet I'll bring it along.
