I've had the mirena for the last year and recently only symtom I have had even resembling anything to do with it has been sore nipples and tender boob's
They feel so huge I don't have monthly visits and haven't since so it couldn't be PMS

I haven't bruised them or anything during sex or with messing around

anybody any idea what it could be or experience?

Hormone changes can make your breasts very sensitive. There's not a huge amount you can do about it as far as I'm aware. Pregnant women get this a lot - sometimes it goes away, sometimes not.

On an off-topic point, I'm astounded a topic called "boob problem" only has one reply.

it would be pretty normal to expreience hormonal changes with any form of bc. To be on the safe side, did you have your check up after fitting and can you feel the strings.

If you cant feel strings then dont panic. it is possible and normal for them to migrate upwards so to speak, gp will be able to check it out.

on another note, have your periods stopped yet?? about 18mths in mine completely vanished, light spotting every few months but nothing more than a panty liner needed, no real mood swings and no cramping. but anyway it is something to look forward to.
