Anyone know the cost of including Setanta onto a package - I currently have sky sports 1,2,3 & extra, but I've been holding for sales for the past 40 minutes....so hoping someone here can help me

    Cheers

? It says there is €15 per month, €180 if you pay for 12 months up front. If you subscribe online, rather than by phone, you will save yourself €7.

They'll be trying to recoup the big money they forked out on sports rights.

18 euro per month. a 20% increase from 15 euro and they havent even started to show premiership soccer yet( apart from the saturday 3pm ones). wonder will it go to 20 euro at the start of next season?

Unbelievable price rise over the last few months € 150 to € 180 to € 216, I do realise that they are now providing a few extra channels but € 216 per year for Setanta is expensive. Ah well.

All the signs of a ticking timebomb, imo...

    ITV Digital, anyone?

It is still £15 per month in the UK. They are even offering new subscribers the first 3 months at £10 per month then £15 per month there after.

That 18 euro per month is way too much.

The sooner Setanta go bust and Sky Sports get back the rights for the pga tour golf, the better.

It depends on what you're interested in.

    60 live SPL games
260 live matches from Holland, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal - Highlight shows from all the leagues too
Champions league matches every CL night
    UEFA cup and international matches
    12 Setanta Cup games
    16 Eircom League games
    Premiership football
    80 Golf Tournaments in 2007
    Magners League Rugby
    Rugby World Cup
GAA - O'Byrne cup, National football league
    Live Racing
    Celtic TV
    Rangers TV
NASN - 800 live or as-live American games and events
..and whatever else I missed out on

As a Celtic fan it's well worth me paying the €4.50 a week. I pay €11.50 a month for Sky Sports and the only live sports I watch on that is football. Sometimes I'd watch the Darts and Tennis while there's only a small amount of snooker on.
