Well if he's not in the team at the end then how can he be awarded a medal? Shall we give Beckham a medal too?

Another question though, what would be the chances of him staying long term?

Well, as beckham hasn't been a part of the team that would make no sense.

The rules state a player has to play in at least 10 premiership games.

Larsson would have only played in 7, so the answer is no. definately no.

That's assuming he does leave in March. It's not nailed on yet.

If he has played the requisite number of games (10) he will recieve a medal,

This was already discussed on here before.......

The answer would be NO as stated above the maximum he could play in the lge is 7 and the FA require a player to have played at least 10 games

Maloney played 9 league games for Celtic this season before he joined Villa. :D

This was brought up when he was first mentioned to be joining UTD. Someone said then that technically you need 10 games but if someone has a big impact on the season in less games the FA sometimes award an extra one. Dunno how true that is but it would probably make sense in cases like this or say injury ruling someone out for all but 7 games but they were inspirational for those. Id say its a very exceptional ruling though, Larsson has been good but would prob need to score in nearly every game or something
