Something i was unaware of until just a few moments ago was the newest entry in the "Boards Group": boards.tv

It's a new television discussion forum set-up by Cloud.. according to the man himself, it's in "early development" but it's definitely worth a look around.

    Categories for the message board:
    • Action & Adventure (subforums include 24, CSI, Lost, Prison Break)
    • Animation (subforums include Family Guy, Futurama, The Simpsons and South Park)
    • Comedy & Sitcoms (subforums include Father Ted, Scrubs, Office US)
    • Drama (subforums include ER, Nip/Tuck, The Sopranos)
    • General Television (subforums include Theme Songs & Soundtracks, Commercials, Satellite)
    • Horror (subforums include Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Charmed)
    • Kids (subforums include Muppets)
    • Other Genres (subforums include Game Shows and Westerns)
    • Reality Television (subforums include Big Brother UK and Apprentice US)
    • Regional (subforums include Ireland, Australia, United States)
    • Science Fiction & Fantasy (subforums include Battlestar Galactica and Heroes)
    • Soap Operas (subforums include Desperate Housewives)

Will we be losing our tv section like the buy & sell section shut down after adverts took over?

strange one to do. I registered all the same but doubt I'll use it much. TV section here does the biz for me, unless its gonna get the chop

I signed in with my Boards.ie account so you shouldn't need to register again!

Not sure what'll happen the TV section here.. depends how much boards.tv takes off i suppose. Probably could have just a simple Television forum here with all the subforums (Prison Break, Lost, 24 etc) moved to the boards.tv domain.

Had tried that but it wasn't working, so I assumed I had to sign up again.

i ike boards TV section the way it is i suppose i will be forced to use boards.tv but im happy with the current set up.

EH, ive had a look at it now some high points are a Futurama, Father ted and scrubs forum.

It wont work if they leave the boards.ie TV section intact because myself and id say a good few others like some mentioned above would just use boards TV section unless there is a plan to phase that out.

I could log in with my user name and post no problems, not sure I see the point though.

I think it was the .us logins (not .ie) that were copied over to .tv ???

I like Television forum the way it is too :)

Yep.. think Cloud said something about boards.ie SQL dump for users would have been far too large. So he took the less hefty US database.
