I'd raise more preflop and probably 3-bet the turn.

i never check nehind here, you have to give people the benefit of doubt in not shooting for a gutshot.9hTh though could be likely but surely they would raise flop.

I would bet more on the flop. You played it well..lucky river for you...it made you lay it down...i think you were behind on the turn

yeah I usually bet more on the flop, I think I probably would have layed it down without the board pairing on the river, was pretty sure I was behind, but I'd get his stack with a house.

What does UTG do after the raise on the turn?

I would bet more on the flop, probably 9 or 10. I'd also make it 5 preflop.
As played I would flat call. Hopefully he'll stack off on the river if you fill up. If you don't then I play the river cautiously.

    there's a limper.
and I like the pot to be bigger when I'm position with a good hand.

    4/5bbs is standard.

actually the more i think about this hand the more I think you should either call the river bet or threebet the turn. the river has changed nothing, and I don't think he needs a straight to c/r you on the turn given the relative weakness of your bet on the river. he could easily have made two pair.

yeah I was thinking that, the turn may enough be a c/r bluff. And he's not gonna fear me having a straight on the river. was fairly close to calling the river but didn't.

I really think you should three bet the turn almost everytime. However, since you didn't, river fold is fine.

4.3 is super aggressive for NL, right? Just raise the turn, probably all in. Bet more on flop and turn, I would probably have gone 10 and as played 25.

I would certainly 3 bet the turn.

Not sure if I fold river though, he raised the turn but it's unlikely for him to have 9T unless he has precisely 9Th. 67/78 are more likely. He may also have A7h or A9h. I think if he has the straight it's more likely to be ATh/9Th.

Also he is quite aggressive which makes his river push less credible.
